SIGHTSEEING

Whatever the season, there are some Must See Sights that you can’t go home without.  After all, what would you tell your friends? We take you to the most Scenic Roads in Zion as well as Roads to Zion that offer spectacular natural or cultural beauty. Many take you by Other National Parks that must be on that life list of places you have to go before you die.

Must-See Sights

Many of Zion’s greatest sights are visible from the road, where your friendly shuttle driver will point them out. Choose from a variety of hikes accessible from the shuttle drop off points, or feel free to get off anywhere. There are no bad hikes within the canyon. Don’t miss Riverside Walk beside the Virgin River, the Temple of Sinawava and the Narrows. Weeping Rock Trail is an easy half mile hike with seeps and a wondrous hanging garden. The Emerald Pools Trail takes you to three pools fed by waterfalls. Zion is one of the most beautiful parks in the nation, so take the time to just sit and stare. We give you the inside scoop on what to look for. > See More

Other National Parks

Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Canyon National Park are two more “stairs” in the Grand Staircase Escalante, the name given to the geological plateau of the area and are both spectacular parks to check out. Many others exist though, so be sure to check out or list of favorite parks in the region. > See More

Scenic Drives

Scenic drives in Zion are limited, but offer some of the best views of the park. Check out Kolob Canyon Road for a less well-known run into the park and is well maintained while Kolob Terrace is a little more rugged. There are many scenic roads in the surrounding areas as well. We guide you to some of the most spectacular. > See More

State Parks

Both forests and sand dunes exist in the state of Utah, along a wealth of other environments. Some state parks are dedicated to highlighting that diversity while others observe ancient Native American settlements. Exploring the smaller state parks may be a refreshing escape from the crowds during a family vacation. We take you to some of the best of Utah’s 45 state parks and recreation areas. > See More
